Trent is President of Middendorf Insurance and has been with the company since 2006. Trent began his insurance career as a commercial lines underwriter for West Bend Mutual in their professional liability department. Trent holds multiple insurance designations including Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and Associate in Insurance Services (AIS). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two children, golfing and attending Iowa State sporting events. Go Clones!

Brett is a Vice President with Middendorf Insurance and has been with the company since 2020. Brett has a BBA in Economics from Loyola University Chicago and a JD from the University of Iowa. He began his career as an attorney in Chicago but quickly realized sales was his true passion. He worked in various sales roles in Chicago before returning to Des Moines to join the family business. Outside of work, Brett is engaged with the local community through service on multiple non-profit boards, volunteering with youth programs, and involvement in community theater. Brett also enjoys spending time with friends, traveling to faraway lands, and playing with his dog, Finn.

Bill is Senior Vice President with Middendorf Insurance and has been with the agency since 1995. He has been a Certified Insurance Counselor for 20 years. Bill is passionate about teaching and helping others and believes that insurance is a perfect fit as it allows him to help clients navigate the risks they encounter in their lives. Bill values community service and has held several elected positions in local governments. He is a proud graduate of Wartburg College, a fan of Iowa college sports and of course the Chicago Cubs. Bill and his wife Lori live on an acreage in rural Polk County where they raised their two adult sons.

Rachel is Vice President of Operations at Middendorf Insurance and has been with the company since 2000. While overseeing agency operations she continues her work as an independent agent because she values helping clients find a carrier that is the best fit for their needs and answering questions along the way. Rachel is currently involved with Kiwanis Miracle League managing concessions and a member of the KML board. You can find Rachel strength training regularly at the gym and enjoying a walk around the lake near their home. She loves spending time with her partner Geoff, his son Ian (HS Senior) and her grown son Keenan (UNI 2025); She adds that life would not be complete without their lively dog Goku who reminds them every day how lucky they are to have him.
